Biography

Daniel Roach is an associate attorney in Burns and Hansen’s civil law department. Daniel’s practice focuses on civil litigation, housing, real estate, and business disputes.

Daniel has experience representing clients through all aspects of litigation, from commencing or responding to a lawsuit through trial. He also has experience assisting businesses and individuals draft, negotiate, or understand a variety of contracts and other agreements.

He emphasizes a client-centered approach throughout every stage and strives to accomplish the client’s goals whether through aggressive representation, settlement and negotiations, or straightforward legal advice. Daniel is dedicated to providing honest and concise legal advice and crafting solutions that meet the individual needs of client’s and their case.

Prior to joining Burns and Hansen, Daniel served as a judicial law clerk in the 10th Judicial District. During this time, he gained experience in a variety of areas of law and honed his skills in research, legal writing, and analysis. His unique perspective on the judicial decision-making process is an asset to clients in determining the best, most cost-effective approach to litigation.

Daniel graduated from the University of Minnesota Law School in 2016 with a concentration in Environmental and Energy Law. He has a degree in Philosophy from the University of Wisconsin – Madison.

Daniel volunteers through LegalCORPS Small Business Landlord Clinic, for which he was previously awarded Special Project of the Year. He is also a Certified Information Privacy Professional/United States (CIPP/US) through The International Association of Privacy Professionals.

In his spare time, Daniel enjoys attending live music events, backpacking, fostering rescue animals, and coping with being a fan of the Minnesota Timberwolves.
